Day-Wise Itinerary

DAY 1


Golden mask show

Welcome to Beijing, the capital of China, rich in history and culture. Your lifetime China tour finally begins. Get transferred to your conveniently located hotel and check in.

For the evening, we experience the Golden Mask Show, a unique and legendary show that shows how a queen who wears a golden mask creates a splendid dynasty

DAY 2


Great Wall of China, Beijing National Stadium and Lenovo factory

After breakfast, proceed on a guided tour of the renowned Great Wall of China, the key symbol of China.  Stretching to a length of around 5500 miles across China, the construction of this man-made marvel, used to defend the Chinese Empire against northern invaders, began in the third century B.C. You will tour to the Great Wall of China at Juyong Pass

Let us stop for a photo op of one of the major landmarks of the city. Beijing National Stadium, also known as the bird’s nest with a capacity of over 80,000 people is a structure that is hard to miss in the country. Keep your cameras ready

Next up is one of the biggest brands in electronics, Lenovo! We take you through the factory showing how the laptop you use is made. Keep your notebook handy and jot down all that you experience here!

DAY 3


Tian’anmen Square, Wild Goose Pagoda at Xi’an

Today after breakfast, proceed on an exciting city tour of Beijing. Visit Tian’anmen Square, one of the largest squares in the world, named after the Tiananmen Gate (Gate of Heavenly Peace) located to its North, separating it from the Forbidden City. It has great cultural significance as it was the site of several important events in Chinese history. We later see the Forbidden City which was the Chinese imperial palace from the Ming Dynasty to the end of the Qing Dynasty. For almost 500 years, it served as the home of emperors and their households, as well as the ceremonial and political centre of Chinese government.

Next, we board the high speed bullet train to Xian. On arrival in Xian, you will be met and transferred to the hotel.

To welcome this cultural city, we head to the magnificent Wild Goose Pagoda built in the 7th century, it functioned to collect Buddhist materials that were taken from India by the hierarch Xuanzang. Also, we have the lovely musical fountain, one of the largest in Asia

DAY 4


Terracotta Warriors

Post breakfast proceed on tour to see the Terracotta Warriors. Xi’an is home to the world-famous Terracotta Warriors Army and Horses, one of the most significant archaeological excavations of the 20th century. This tour offers you the opportunity to explore the site, where 7,000 of these life-sized figures were constructed to guard Emperor Qin Shihuang’s tomb.

DAY 5


Shanghai tour, Volkswagen factory, Oriental TV Pearl Tower

As you wake up today morning you are welcomed by the bustling metropolis of Shanghai. Situated on the estuary of Yangtze River, it serves as the most influential economic, financial, international trade, cultural, science and technology center in East China. Here, one finds the perfect blend of cultures, the modern and the traditional, and the western and the oriental. As part of the tour, we visit the colorful Yuyuan market and the vast Shanghai museum.

Post lunch, you will visit the Volkswagen Factory. Shanghai Volkswagen Industrial Tour brings you to the production line, witness the process of car production, and experience advanced management and modern technology, as well as the profound influence of the coming automobile era in China’s society.

Next take a tour to the Bund area and visit the Oriental TV Pearl Tower. It totals 468m in height and is the tallest TV tower in Asia and the third tallest in the world. From the TV tower, we can get a clear view of the whole city. Its construction was started in 1991 and completed in 1994. Soon after that, it was opened to the public. Now it has become the centre of the culture, entertainment and tourism in the city of Shanghai.

In the evening, we take a leisurely cruise along the Huangpu River gazing at the color and beauty of Shanghai

DAY 6


Depart

Check out and head to the airport for our flight back home
